Mosul Residents Continue to Escape

The number of displaced people from Mosul continues to grow with the establishment of the operation of West Mosul. The roads are dangerous due to the ISIS (Islamic State) booby traps. On Friday 24th and 25th, Citizens in the right coast neighborhood of Mosul began to leave their homes intensively. While they were leaving their homes, there was a very heavy fight between ISIS (Islamic State) militants and the Iraqi’s forces. Photos: Fazel Hawramy KIRKUKNOW  

Displaced people of Mosul reaches the areas under the control of the Iraqi forces.
 
Some citizens took their domesticated ungulates with them to the areas under the control of the Iraqi forces.
 
When the displaced peoples arrive at the Iraqi controlled areas, the men are separated from the women for check up.
 
The identity of the male citizens is checked and passed on to a computer in order to check if they are on suspected list or not.
 
On February 25th, seven people were arrested for being on the suspect list
 
Those who are among the suspects are being transferred to another place.
