Zizfon and Hawija scouts ranked first at annual primary schools scouting

The event took place at Hanarai Institution Park, with 23 schools participating. Yasin al-Sab’awi, Hawija: Head and technical director of the assembly, Muhammad Serhan told Kirkuk Now, “Scouting is a part of the annual school activities in Hawija in which all schools under Hawija education participate.” He mentioned that 23 schools took part in the event by doing athletic activities which amused the students. The event started with the checking teams by a committee. Then a student from Majd ul-Arabi school read some verses of Holy Qoran. After the flag planting and some speeches, the teams exhibited different activities. Hawija and Zizfon primary schools both could win the highest rank, Neba and Tafa’ol came in second, and with Qanadil and Ajial in third place. The event finished with a ceremony of giving prizes to the teams. After lunch, the flag of the event was lowered as a sign of the end of the event.
