Sekani Theatre Group honors the memory of theatre martyrs

Muhana al-Shamari, Kirkuk “I’d like to dedicate our play to the honour our beloved ones, to appreciate their leadership in theatre,” said Abdulrazaq Muhammad, director of the play. He also mentioned the hardships of working with students from the early stages of college, as he was optimistic about that the step will be a milestone for the giant steps of their bright future. Yawuz Fayaq, head of Qalla drama group talked about play, “I suffered because of this play, since those who mentioned were mostly my friends whom we were studying together at school. I remembered 60s up to this point of my life.” Ahmed Abudlraza, theatre student praised the work, “It was very good, it mentioned all those great drama players whom were leaders of us. The artists like Jalil alqaisi, Ra’ad Mutrish, Muhedin Zangana, Hussein Misri and Adnan Khalaf were owned the great works which will never die.”
