Vivan Khoshbaya uses her small poultry farming project to help the needy

Vivan Khshbaya , a Christian, is 48 years oldShe lives in Tishambe village in Amedi, Duhok. She has two sons and one daughterVivan is a civil servant in Batifa sub-district, but her passion is raising poultry.At first she was raising partridges, Turkeys and ducks, but now she is raising chicken. Currently she has over 600 chickens in her yardI raise them as if they were my own children; if any of them dies I feel so sad”, says VivanShe doesn’t have a hen farm. She says “If I had a big farm I could raise thousands of chicken.”She often gives chicken and eggs to needy families, and sometimes she uses her profits to buy presents for talented students in her village.
