An oil pipeline was blown up late on Sep 8 in the town of Dubz in northwest Kirkuk province.

An official from Kirkuk North Oil Company told (Kirkuk Now) that “two firemen were injured when a bomb went off at the scene”.

The oil pipeline was guarded by security companies until October 16 of last year when Iraqi army forces returned to the disputed territories.

Sheikh Izzaddin Talabani, who owned a security company protecting Kirkuk oil pipelines says” more than 60 contracts between security companies and North Oil have been annulled since October 16, 2017”.
