Kirkuk oil exports to rise to 625.000 bpd

An official source from Iraq North Oil Company said that Kirkuk oil fields’ exports to Ceyhan port in Turkey have increased recently.

Baram Subhi, Kirkuk:

Exports reached 625.000 bpd when it was 450.000 bpd last month according to the source.  The source also said improving the oil fields has caused a stable increase in oil exports.  The Iraqi government has also planned to increase exports even more.  Oil exports increases were noticeable in the fields of Bai Hasan, Kirkuk, and Ain Zala which has reached 415.000 bpd.  “According to our (company’s) plan, oil exports will reach 850.000 bpd this year,” the source said.

According to the bonds signed between international companies and Iraqi government, within six years oil exports will reach 11 million bpd through improvements and work done in the oil fields.
