Zhalla Naftci: Kirkuk should not be compromised between factions

A Kirkuk representative in the Iraqi Parliament says Kirkuk is not the property of anyone and should not be compromised by the Turkmens.
Zhalla Naftci, who is an Iraqi MP on Turkmen list and a participant on the Iraqiya Alliance said, “We are firmly rejecting Kirkuk being compromised among the factions and politicians, as we reject bringing political issues into Kirkuk.”
She added, “We don’t want to make Kirkuk a spotlight of the political issues.” She said Kirkuk has no issues while politicians bring their problems into the province.
