Agriculture engineers protest
Agriculture engineers launched a protest asking for carrier wages as a member of the Kirkuk Provincial Council supported their demand.
Nearly 400 agriculture engineers launched a protest in front of the Agriculture Directorate of Kirkuk on June 5, demanding spending carrier wages. Azad Jabari, a member of the KPC said, “The KPC supports them since they have a legitimate demand.”
Mehdi Mubarak, director of the Agriculture Directorate said the protest is inclusive covering all the provinces of Iraq, “There was a demand for wages in the past, but it had not been spent. That’s why the decided to protest.”
