Kirkuk Provincial Council blacklisted 65 companies due to ‘shortcomings’ in their work.
Kameran Kirkuk, a member of the Law Committee at the KPC confirmed the news, saying that “We, as the council blacklisted 65 companies in cooperation with the Kirkuk Governorate.” He added, “This is the first phase, as they are given a 15 day-deadline to resolve their issues.”
The names of the blacklisted companies were given to the Ministry of Planning, as to ban them in all of Iraq. The companies are working in the fields of housing, road construction, landscaping, and other services.
