I am Halmat Sa’id Qadir, 26, graduate of marketing department of Kirkuk Technical Institute. Post-graduation, I was intimated of lack of job opportunities but I did not give up.

Three years ago, I was making small things out of old household appliances. Later, I have decided to make hand-made power banks. I have opened a store and attracted customers.

As first stage, I was making the power banks by hand from second-hand junk materials and batteries. When I opened my own store in Kirkuk, I have decided to import the best basic materials and batteries.

"I have decided to make hand-made power banks. I have opened a store and attracted customers."

It was hard to find proper batteries and circuits to make affordable yet high quality power banks. I am currently retailing and planning for whole sale in the future.

“It is always very hard to start but I did not give up and insisted to develop my own project. I hope no one gives up, like me, never be upset or hopeless and find what fits you.”
