A doctor working with the UN at the Kirkuk Airport was stabbed to death. Authorities have started an investigation.
The incident happened on 26 September at around 20:30. The victim is from the Philippines, he was stabbed in one of the bathrooms of the airport, according to a source from the security forces who spoke to KirkukNow.
“The employee’s name is Ronald Santos. His corpse was sent for autopsy yesterday. The Iraqi National Security has started an investigation on the case,” the source added.
KirkukNow has learned that the victim was stabbed twice and he was found dead in the bathroom.
