Doctor Sabah Hawrami, general director of health in Sulaimani, issued a statement in which he says next week is a sensitive week that requires taking more precautionary measures against coronavirus in Sulaimani and its regions.
He asks people of the city of Sulaimani to take the precautionary measures against the virus more seriously than last week.
He also states that those people who have come back from Iran should not interact with other people and should be quarantined and advises them to visit the coronavirus clinic in Sarchinar neighborhood if they have fever, cough, or sneeze.
However, he says people who have not visited Iran but have sings of influenza flu do not have to visit the hospitals.
In the Kurdistan Region, no cases of coronavirus have been recorded while in Kirkuk, Baghdad, and Najaf, collectively eight cases have been confirmed.
