According to the deputy governor of Nineveh, Rif’at Simo, the governor of Nineveh, Najm al-Jibouri, has started working on building a railway track between Mosul and Turkey.

Meanwhile, the governor has been in Baghdad for a few days to discuss a number of projects with the Federal Government.
Simo said that the railway project is among them.
“The project will serve citizens of both countries immensely, and will have a good effect on trade between Turkey and Nineveh [Province],” added Simo.
